Wound care:
Supplemental heating provided with heating pad.
Anesthetized with isoflurane via mask.
Wound on left patagium noticed - two small (~2cm) superficial skin lacerations.
Plucked feathers from all wound sites (left patagium, right patagium front and back, right dorsal/lateral humerus).
Cleaned wounds with dilute betadine.
Sterilely prepped right patagium. Trimmed devitalized tissue surrounding laceration. Closed with 5-0 PDS simple continuous.
Flushed right humerus with LRS. Radial nerve was noted to be exposed and appeared gray in color, but intact. Sterilely prepped. Trimmed devitalized tissue surrounding laceration. Closed skin with 4-0 PDS simple continuous.
Closed two small lacerations on left patagium with 5-0 PDS cruciates.
Closed small laceration on right carpus with 5-0 PDS cruciate.
Applied telfa pads to wounds on right patagium and humerus, held in placed with vetwrap wing to body wrap.

Treatments administered:
Ceftiofur:
Buprenorphine SR: 0.2mL (1.8mg/mL) SQ
Meloxicam: 0.24mL (5mg/mL) SQ

Prolonged recovery (>1 hour):
Noticed decreased to absent respirations towards end of procedure. Cloacal temperature 96.5. Discontinued isoflurane and provided oxygen via mask. Intubated with 3.0 ET tube and manually ventilated. Provided heat support with warm towels and warm water gloves. Spontaneous ventilation noted. Cloacal temperature of 101.6 prior to extubation.
Placed in incubator for heat support overnight.
